The DBR and its Resources and Financing
The German Disability Council does not have any full-time or paid staff and no budget of its own. All the office and secretary work necessary to support the activities of the group of spokesmen and of the working committee is done by one of the member associations of the DBR in yearly rotation. In the year 2004, it is the turn of the social association VdK (Sozialverband VdK Deutschland) to take on that job.
The regular staff cost and cost for physical resources are carried by the respective member that has taken over the office duties for one year. All the more important expenses, especially the cost for any meeting or other event are borne by the member associations altogether.
