The DBR and its Terms for Membership

The German Disability Council is open for membership to non-governmental organizations of disabled and chronically ill people and their relatives working nation-wide and oriented towards policy-making at federal government level. As a rule, the associations must have members and/or offices in at least five federal states in Germany and count 750 individual members as a minimum. The working committee of the DBR decides on any exceptions concerning these conditions.

All the members of the German Disability Council are organizations of and for disabled and chronically ill people and their relatives. The associations must guarantee that the disabled and chronically ill people and their relatives are in the majority among the individual members as well as in their respective executive committee.
